Meet Kirklyn Powell
Kirklyn puts the “klyn” in KLYN Coffee! Kirklyn Powell is a full time real estate professional & owner of KLYN Coffee. Before he planted his roots in Tennessee, Kirklyn opened up a mobile cafe in North West Arkansas called The Morning Grind at sixteen years old. The food truck was intended to only be open a few days a week, so he could operate it solo while focusing on being a high school student. The popularity in the community caused The Morning Grind to grow rapidly which gave him the opportunity to move into a brick and mortar location after being in business FOR JUST SIX MONTHS. The Morning Grinders were a team of six & the shop was open six days a week offering a wide variety of signature coffees, smoothie bowls, salads, and homemade baked items. While there was great success and thousands of coffees served to his hometown community, Kirklyn decided that he was going to be serving his last coffee on his 18th birthday. It was a bittersweet moment because Kirklyn had put so much blood, sweat, and tears into the business but he knew that he wanted to move to a larger city to call home after graduating. Because of Kirklyn’s community, The Morning Grind became something that was unimaginable when he first opened his food truck. With a big dream, a little caffeine, & a great community anything is possible!
Then Kirklyn got his real estate license & moved to Nashville, TN at eighteen where he now works as a full time Realtor. He’s decided that his time in “coffee retirement” was over & it was time to introduce his popular signature coffees to Nashville. KLYN Coffee is a mobile coffee company only available at private events & is now available to book for your next event. KLYN is not yet a public mobile cart, but keep your eyes open because there’s plans to expand as KLYN Coffee grows. Our mobile coffee cart is based in Nashville however we are NOT bound! If you’re interested in booking KLYN for your next event outside of Nashville please reach out directly to see if accommodations can be made.
Currently, KLYN Coffee offers multiple packages for our cold brew bar available for any private event. From apartment complexes to birthday bashes, KLYN wants to help caffeinate your next event!

Community means different things to different people, but it all boils down to a sense of belonging and connection. For some, community is the group of neighbors who gather regularly to share a meal and catch up on each other's lives. For others, it's the sports team or club that they belong to, where they can pursue their passions and bond with others who share their interests. Some find community in their workplace, where they collaborate with colleagues and form life long friendships. And for many, community is found online, in forums and social media groups where they can connect with like-minded individuals from all over the world. Whatever your definition is, community is essential to our sense of well-being and happiness. For Kirklyn, the sense of community has continued to show its importance over and over in his life. From the community that helped The Morning Grind take off to his new community in Nashville that allowed him to get plugged in when he moved to a brand new city. Community is so important to us at KLYN Coffee, and that’s why our mission is to help keep your community caffeinated.
